About Us

TEO A/S was founded in 2007 in Copenhagen with Syddansk Kapital as co-owner. The aim was to be a flexible, competitive and scalable extension of the customers’ internal development department (the Core+ model). At the head of TEO is Zahid Abdullah, who founded the company and who has engineering and commercial education from DTU and roots from Pakistan.
Reliable Software Engineers
With approximately 170 employees, the vast majority of whom are software engineers, we are one of the largest Danish IT companies..
The headquarters are still in Copenhagen, while our development center is in Islamabad, Pakistan. While it is often a challenge to recruit in Denmark, there is a large base of well-educated and English-speaking software engineers in Pakistan.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Utility program
The Employee Social Committee (ESC) is a self-governed aid program for fundraising and granting for social needs in society, managed entirely by TEO’s employees and with their own money. TEO merely ensures a platform for disseminating the information.
Another social initiative was the donation of 1,000 hours of software development for social NGOs on our 10th anniversary.
TEO Scholarship Program
TEO’s scholarship program isa well-organized program, since its foundation has awarded 227 study scholarships to deserving needy students on IT programs at 17 universities in Pakistan. With an IT education, a person can support approx. 10-20 people in his immediate family and surroundings. At the same time, we are breaking the social legacy from this generation to the next generation.
The scholarships are awarded from TEO’s own funds, with appropriate control measures, e.g. in that the individual universities approve the students who have applied for scholarships.

Zahid Abdullah
Zahid is the founder and CEO of TEO. He has worked with software development since 1993 and with Global Software Engineering & Management since 2001.

Mads Transel
Mads has many years of management experience in sales and marketing, as well as implementing new structures and strategies to create profitable growth.

Kerny Ustrup
Kerny has extensive experience within the IT industry in Denmark, and has worked at management level at e.g. Krak and Maersk. He has a strong interest in digitization.

Per Agger-Nielsen
Per has worked with small and medium-sized companies for more than 25 years. He has worked as CFO and later as an investor and board member.

Claus Østergaard
Claus has many years of experience at management level in the IT industry in Denmark, Scandinavia, Europe and Asia. He has, among other things, was sales director at Fujitsu Siemens.

Rami Ismail
Rami has both worked with B2B sales and has been in charge of the talent development program at Danfoss for a number of years.

Gufran Usman
Gufran is sales director and has worked with sales and business development since 2000. He took over the role of sales director in 2012.

Jibran Safdar
Jibran is Country Manager and has many years of experience from the software industry and collaborates with Danish customers and employees from Pakistan.

Azmat Shir
Azmat is CTO and has a background as a computer scientist. He has more than 20 years of experience with system requirements, architecture and software development.
